Marie Basche

Marie Basche has over 15 years of experience working in the Connecticut Community College system as an academic advisor and counselor. She is currently the Interim Director of the Academic Success Center at Capital Community College and coordinator of instruction of the college’s First Year Experience course. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Student Development and Higher Education Counseling from Central Connecticut State University. She is a member of the Urban League’s Education Advisory Committee and member of the Connecticut Association of Latinos in Higher Education, and an advisor for the local Phi Theta Kappa chapter.
